Brown-Bag Lunch: Lounging with Lions - A Month in Zimbabwe
Presented by Dan Moise
Open to the public and members

This talk is part of a series of Brown-Bag Lunch programs featuring journeys to exotic lands in keeping with the 2010 Philadelphia International Flower Show theme, “Passport to the World.” Get a stamp for all you attend and if you see them all, the last one is free!

In 2008 PHS staff member Daniel Moise spent a month in Gweru, Zimbabwe, as a volunteer at Antelope Park, a wildlife preserve specializing in the rehabilitation of African lions. He was involved in the research of lion behavior and worked with the world’s only program for their release into the wild. He also assisted with orphaned elephants; toured the surrounding countryside; and visited Victoria Falls, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Bring your lunch; PHS will provide snacks and drinks.
