Regional Evening Lecture: Fashionably Late - The Garden after August 1st

Many people feel that the garden is finished at the first hint of fall. But this talk by Dan Benarcik will convince you otherwise! Dan will offer ideas to keep the garden alive with exhilarating color and texture throughout the fall.
Dan Benarcik is a horticulturist at Chanticleer, in Wayne, Pennsylvania, as well as a writer whose articles have appeared in Fine Gardening, Horticulture, Martha Stewart Living magazines, and Rodale gardening books. He teaches at Longwood gardens and is a popular lecturer in the Delaware Valley and nationally.
This lecture is co-sponsored by PHS, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Berks County, Penn State Berks Campus, and the Berks County Horticulture Club. Directions will be mailed with confirmation letters. The lecture will be followed by light refreshments.
